Replacing MailChimp/ActiveCampaign
HighLevel allows you to send both Broadcast Campaigns (one-time blasts) and Automated Emails (drip sequences).
The Builders
- Visual Builder: Drag-and-drop blocks for images, buttons, and text. Great for newsletters.
- HTML/Text Builder: Simple, plain-text emails. These often have higher deliverability because they look like a personal 1-to-1 message.
Custom Values
Personalization is key. Use "Custom Values" to insert dynamic data:

LC Email System
HighLevel uses its own "LeadConnector" email system (built on Mailgun). It removes the headache of setting up your own SMTP server, though you can still use your own (SendGrid, Mailgun) if you prefer.
