05. Automation Workflows

If This, Then That... On Steroids.

The Engine Room

Workflows are where HighLevel truly shines. It replaces tools like ActiveCampaign or Zapier. A workflow is a sequence of automated actions triggered by an event.

Anatomy of a Workflow

  1. The Trigger: What starts the automation?
Examples: Form Submitted, Birthday is today, Link clicked, Tag added.
  2. The Actions: What happens next?
Examples: Send Email, Wait 1 Day, Send SMS, Add Tag, Create Opportunity.

The "Fast Five" Lite Recipe

Every new account should have the "Fast Five" automation implemented for lead nurture:

Conditions and Logic

You can create complex branching paths. "If the lead replies 'YES', send them the booking link. If they reply 'NO', remove from list. If they don't reply in 3 days, send follow-up #2."
