Two Worlds: Agency vs. Sub-Account
One of the most confusing things for new users is the distinction between the Agency Dashboard and the Sub-Account Dashboard.
1. The Agency Dashboard
This is your "God Mode". Here you manage:
- Your billing and subscription to HighLevel.
- Your SaaS settings and pricing plans.
- Creation of new client accounts (Sub-Accounts).
- Global settings like Twilio/Mailgun reselling.
2. The Sub-Account (Location) Dashboard
This is where the actual work happens. Each client you sign up gets their own Sub-Account. Inside here, you find:
- Conversations: The unified inbox.
- Marketing: Social planner and email builder.
- Automation: The workflow builder.
- Sites: Funnels and websites.
The "Launchpad"
When you first create a sub-account, start at the Launchpad. It's a checklist designed to get the account ready fast:
- Download the mobile app.
- Connect Google Business Profile (for reviews).
- Connect Facebook (for ads and messaging).
- Connect Stripe (to take payments).
- Add team members.
