The Engine Room
Workflows are where HighLevel truly shines. It replaces tools like ActiveCampaign or Zapier. A workflow is a sequence of automated actions triggered by an event.
Anatomy of a Workflow
- The Trigger: What starts the automation?
Examples: Form Submitted, Birthday is today, Link clicked, Tag added. - The Actions: What happens next?
Examples: Send Email, Wait 1 Day, Send SMS, Add Tag, Create Opportunity.
The "Fast Five" Lite Recipe
Every new account should have the "Fast Five" automation implemented for lead nurture:
- Step 1: Immediate SMS acknowledgment ("Hey [Name], thanks for your inquiry!").
- Step 2: Immediate Email Confirmation.
- Step 3: Wait 2 minutes.
- Step 4: "Call Connect" (The system calls YOU, then connects you to the lead).
- Step 5: If no answer, send voicemail drop.
Conditions and Logic
You can create complex branching paths. "If the lead replies 'YES', send them the booking link. If they reply 'NO', remove from list. If they don't reply in 3 days, send follow-up #2."
